CHRISTOPHE JOUENNE
With over 28 years of training and experience, Christophe Jouenne has quickly made a name for himself in the beauty industry. Since moving to the United States in 1994, he has been recognized as one of the most talented hairstylists in the Washington, D.C. area. Christophe’s talents are quickly expanding into the Bay area.
Originally from Normandy, France, Christophe has trained with some of the best names in the beauty industry, including Jean Mark Maniatas, and Christopher and Sonia Doves, to name a few. He has worked fashion shows in Paris for designers, such as Jean Paul Gautlier, Lagerfeld and Chanel. He has also done work for Oscar DeLa Renta, Vera Wang and Reem Acra. His work has been published in several magazines, including Allure, Washingtonian, I Do, Baltimore Bride and Elegant Bride.
He has a passion for doing hair extensions and for formal events which has made him one of the most desired stylists on the D.C. social circuit and also has given him the opportunity to travel around the world.
Christophe’s philosophy is that hair doesn’t have to be what’s fashionable at the time; it may not always work. He believes in partnering with each client to create that person’s individual style and look. “With the right look, each person will be able to move through life with confidence and style, “ says Christophe.
